Thomas Tombal is a doctoral candidate and researcher at the CRIDS (Centre de Recherche Information, Droit et Société) of the University of Namur, where he is writing a PhD on the topic “Compulsory B2B data sharing: a tale of trade-offs”. His doctoral research focuses mainly on data protection, competition law and IP issues. In parallel, Thomas works on the interdisciplinary DIGI4FED project, funded by BELSPO, where he deals with legal issues pertaining to the use of Big Data and AI by public administrations.
