Sajedeh Salehi

Sajedeh is a PhD researcher at Law, Science, Technology and Society Research Group. Her main research area is focused on Online dispute resolution (ODR) systems. She is currently involved in some EU projects such as SCAN (Small Claims Analysis Network)and CREA (Conflict Resolution with Equitative Algorithms). She holds the LL.M in Innovation, Technology and Law from the Edinburgh University Law School in the UK. She obtained her LL.B from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran, Iran. Her LL.M dissertation concentrated on the EU systems of consumer protection in Online and distance selling contracts and assessment of the effective measures to advance the pertinent legal protections. She has won several scholarships including, the Edinburgh full scholarship for LLM (2016), the Lund University Global full scholarship (2015) and the International Women Lawyers of IBA scholarship (2015).
Sajedeh is also a licences lawyer as part of the Iran Bar Association. She has also been appointed as the legal and international affairs advisor to the head of the Science & Tech Park of the Province (2017). She has been actively involved in providing counselling and dealing with various legal issues specifically on Tech & Startup Companies.
Her main research interests are e-commerce law, ODRs, ADRs, consumer protection, comparative civil procedure laws, privacy & data protection and ICT law.
