Rosa Wevers is a PhD candidate in Gender Studies at Utrecht University. Her research project 'Facing Surveillance: Artistic Strategies in Times of Control' is focused on art exhibitions that thematize surveillance. Rosa is especially interested in how artists create tangible and critical responses to structures of exclusion produced by technological surveillance. Before starting her PhD, Rosa has worked as a coordinator of the Gender and Diversity Hub and the Museum of Equality and Difference (MOED). Rosa is also the co-host of the podcast called 'Kunstmatig', on the intersections of art and technology.
