Lahoussine Aniss is Expert in Data protection. He has held various management positions within the Ministry of Trade and Industry and within the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC). It was at the end of 2011 that he joined the Moroccan data protection authority (CNDP) as Secretary General where he contributed, for more than seven years, to the development of that authority. He is also a member of UN Global Pulse Advisory Group (A UN think-tank dedicated to privacy protection), and contributed, from 2015 to 2017, to the works of the Executive Committee of the International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners. He also oversaw, in 2018, the Permanent Secretariat of the African Network of Data Protection Authorities.
