Imge Ozcan

Imge Ozcan is a researcher and PhD candidate at the interdisciplinary Research Group on Law, Science, Technology and Society (LSTS) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She holds a Master's degree in Media and Cultural Studies. Her current research focuses on lived experiences of datafication from the bottom-up, looking at diverse subject positions and engagements with data particularly in the context of self-tracking practices. Imge is also in the organising and programming committees of Computers, Privacy and Data Protection conference (CPDP) and PrivacyCamp.eu. Before academia, Imge worked in media industry including broadcast TV and publishing.
