Cemre Bedir is a PhD Researcher at the Private, Business and Labour Law Department of Tilburg University. He studied at Istanbul University (LL.B.), the London School of Economics (LL.M), and Leiden University (Advanced LL.M.) Since September 2018, he has been working as a PhD researcher in law at Tilburg University and a lecturer of Obligations and Contract law in the Bachelor's program in Global Law at Tilburg University. His PhD research examines the interplay between contract law and data protection. For this purpose, he makes a comparison among English and German explores certain specific contracts to find out whether contract law can play any roles in establishing contractual fairness in contracts where personal data is involved.
