Bianca is about to start her PhD with the LSTS and Fundamental Rights Centre at the VUB where she will research the impact of migration and border control technologies on the fundamental rights of migrants. Previously, Bianca was a data protection officer and senior programmes coordinator at ESOMAR in Amsterdam, and held research roles with the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and with Gender Concerns International, a women’s rights NGO in the Hague.
